The Canadian University and College Conference Organizers Association (CUCCOA) is seeking your support and offering you an opportunity to showcase your company’s product and services at our upcoming virtual Conference, “Moving Forward: Life After Turmoil”, on October 5 – 7, 2021.

The CUCCOA National Conference brings our conference organizers and accommodation managers together for professional development, education, networking, support, and inspiration. We have been meeting for over 40 years.  Last year’s virtual conference attracted over 140 colleagues from over 75 colleges and universities across Canada.

Over this three-day virtual event, we offer networking opportunities for accommodation, campus conference event, and hospitality professionals to come together with industry leaders and suppliers.

Our CUCCOA members boast a wealth of collective experience in planning conferences and events both on and off campus – universities and colleges across Canada host over 250,000 meetings and events every year!  Our accommodation managers oversee year round guest suites and dorm rooms for nightly rentals during the spring and summer months.  As an exhibitor, you will be able to connect with our members in the virtual exhibit hall throughout the event.

Your support will provide your company the opportunity to build relationships and create new business opportunities by:

• Networking with leaders in the meeting and event industry

The sponsorship tier highlights your company as a sponsor of our virtual lounge on either Tuesday or Wednesday, enabling you to socialize and network with delegates.

• Opportunity to do a 5-minute demonstration, provide entertainment (e.g. virtual piano bar), or be creative about their company during designated lounge hours

Who will be attending this virtual conference?

This event brings our conference organizers and accommodation managers, from universities and colleges across Canada, together for professional development, education, networking, support, and inspiration. We have been meeting for over 40 years and are expecting more than 100 colleagues from all provinces to attend.  CUCCOA promotes universities and colleges as venues for accommodations, meetings and conferences through our ConnectOnCampus brand and website. 

 

What will the Virtual Exhibit Hall look like?

Is there any training or orientation on how to use the system?

Yes - PheedLoop has put together some training videos that we recommend you viewing before participating in our event. This will help you maximize your profile and engage with our delegates. How do exhibitors ‘staff’ the booth and interact live?

Your exhibit can be access 24/7 during the event, but it should be staffed at minimum during schedule exhibit hall breaks to maximize networking (times to be communicated to you in advance).  In addition to direct contact information, delegates are able to chat live with exhibitors.  We recommend that you view PheedLoop’s virtual exhibitor training: https://pheedloop.com/more/virtual-exhibitor-training

 

How many participants will be attending?

This is the second time we are offering a virtual national conference for our membership, and registration will be opening this summer. We currently have a total of 180 members, and are expecting more than 100 of them to attend virtually.  Last year, at our first virtual conference, we had over 140 members attend.

 

Can I give away prizes or gifts?

Yes!  Let us know if you are offering any swag (virtually, discounts, etc.) or offering a raffle prize and we will help promote it to our members.

 

How will CUCCOA drive traffic to the exhibit hall?

Access to the virtual exhibit hall will be displayed prominently on the main tool bar of the virtual conference platform.  Exhibitors are encouraged to make conference-exclusive offers and promotions available.  Announcements and digital promotion will remind participants to explore the hall.  We also encourage exhibitors to engage with us on social media using #CUCCOAVirtual.
